Our impact modified Polycarbonate flat sheets are a less expensive alternative to pan faces. They are very popular for applying vinyl with the option of painting the second surface. Milliken does not recommend closer than 6″ or over 32 sq ft.

 

 

Pan Faces

For a stronger, more durable & upscale choice Milliken offers pan faces. We are able to produce a polycarbonate 8′ x 20′ in one section. We have a wide range of standard and custom molds available. At Milliken we are specialists for program jobs an can accommodate large volume projects at a competitive price.

Custom Pan Faces

From custom three dimensional molds and shapes, to multi-color paint and digital prints, Milliken has the talented staff and capabilities of handling even your more challenging plastic sign face applications. Our molds are built not only with state of the art cad cam technology, but also talented artisans to create that special touch. We use DuPont translucent paint which employs their impeccable DuPont paint matching system for color accuracy and satisfaction. So, before you turn down that difficult job, let Milliken see if we can meet the challenge for you.

Thermoforming

Milliken utilizes two forming ovens with the capabilities of vacuum forming both impact modified acrylic and polycarbonate sign faces. Both our ovens make use of hi-volume vacuum, and precise temperature control to ensure excellent thermoforming definition and quality. We have the capability of forming polycarbonate faces up to 8′x20′ in one piece.

Materials

Milliken offers two great choices for your formed plastic face needs. Our impact modified acrylic promotes excellent thermoforming definition, non-yellowing, and has excellent UV protection properties. Our solar grade polycarbonate has superior thermoforming definition, excellent UV protection, is non-yellowing, and is a more rigid plastic.

If you need decorated faces, custom shapes, embossed lettering, radius corners, or just a standard clear or white pan face we can meet your needs. We offer acrylic sign faces in clear and white.
