True Truss System
The most difficult part of manufacturing an awning or sign is the fabrication of the trusses that form the shape of the structure. Only those companies with highly skilled fabricators would consider accepting a job from a retail customer. The Milliken True Truss System allows for less skilled fabricators to produce immaculate awnings.
The concept of pre-assembled roof trusses and other prefabricated components is widely accepted by the home builder. They realize the profitability in time saved by letting other professionals design and manufacture these components. Milliken has been furnishing this system to the sign industry since 1994. Our trusses are similar to roof trusses but for awnings and canopies. Trusses are designed on a per job basis and are one piece of the Milliken Easy Build Kit. True Trusses are used in conjunction with the Matched Staple and Fast Clip systems.

FastClip
Milliken’s FastClip System completely eliminates the need for welding awning or sign components together. Now you do not need to buy or maintain costly welding equipment or have trained welders on staff. All you need is a screw gun and self tapping tek screws. When used with the patented Milliken Profile (aluminum extrusion), True Trusses, and our proven staple system, the FastClip System is an excellent solution for anyone who wants to produce great products quickly and profitably! The FastClip System is comprised with 8 different designs, and used in combination can assemble any size and shape sign or awning.
The FastClip System is designed to work effectively and give a tight bond only when used with Milliken extrusions. The Milliken extrusions boast special outer contours upon which the FastClips are designed. This includes the Milliken Profiles and the square tubing shapes offered by Milliken. FastClips are yet another element of the Milliken Easy Build System.
